HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to support electrophysiology procedures in the Cath Lab. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, preparing patients and families, and operating advanced equipment with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience preferred
• State of Florida Paramedic License or CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) through CCI

Job Summary and Qualifications

Shift and Position Information:

Four-9hr shifts in the Electrophysiology Lab Monday -Friday. No Call Required. Optional to pick up call in the Cath Lab if individual lives within 30 min call window.

The cardiovascular technologist assists with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
