Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a flagship hospital within Methodist Health System, seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. You will assist with monitoring, scrub duties, imaging, and patient care under supervision, contributing to a high‑quality, patient‑centered team.

Successful candidates hold an allied health degree, current AHA ACLS, RCIS or ARRT/TX RT(R) credentials, and are prepared to obtain RCIS within six months.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or commensurate healthcare experience is required.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification is required.
• RCIS certification must be obtained within six months of hire or ARRT/TX RT(R) qualification accepted.
• Licenses and/or Certifications are mandatory for employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Monitors dysrhythmia and EKG during procedures and operates physiologic recorder.
• Assists as scrub tech and operates imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Functions as circulator, monitors patient status, and handles supplies during procedures.
• Transports patients to and from the department and maintains cath lab readiness.
• Maintains sterile technique, inventory control, and medication knowledge; troubleshoots equipment.
• Prepares patient and procedure setup and supports staff throughout procedures.
