Job summary

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or <2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience; radiographic procedures under policies.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure/certification as required by state.
• BLS, ACLS certifications; PALS where applicable.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and Cath Lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures per orders.
• Educates patients/families about procedures and treatment.
• Produces high quality images and maintains documentation.
• Operates and ensures safety of radiology equipment; adheres to radiation safety policies.
• Monitors and maintains supplies for uninterrupted service.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional responsibilities.
