Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona, invites applications for Cardiology Interventional Technologist in the Cardiac Cath & EP Lab. You will scrub, circulate, and monitor during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures for adult patients, supporting up to 11,000 cases yearly.

The role requires 2+ years in a Cardiac Cath Lab, RCIS certification, BLS, and potentially ACLS, with a 3x12 schedule and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS may be required depending on assignment.
• Must have successfully passed the RCIS exams.
• 2+ years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital setting or meeting certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures to treat heart disease.
• Operate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and troubleshoot to maintain performance.
• Monitor ECG and pressure waves; record readings during procedures.
• Practice aseptic and sterile techniques and prepare instruments for cleaning.
• Maintain confidentiality and work under physician direction during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing management and staff in an interdisciplinary team.
