Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ seeks a Special Procedure Technologist to support Cardiac Cath Lab operations. You will work closely with physicians, assist in complex cases, and participate in advanced registry activities in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

Recent graduate or <2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP or equivalent.
Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
Licensure/certifications as required by state regulatory agency.
BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS if applicable.
Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and Cath Lab procedures.
Effective communication, data analysis and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Perform prescribed radiographic procedures following policies and protocols.
Educate patients and families about procedures; foster teamwork and quality outcomes.
Produce high quality images and maintain documentation for interpretation.
Ensure equipment quality control and maintain a safe environment.
Maintain confidentiality and support efficient department workflow.
Independently perform prescribed procedures per policies.
