Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time role focuses on direct patient care in a high‑acuity environment, requiring rapid assessment, preparation for procedures, and adherence to safety and care standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year cath lab or ICU RN experience, current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. The position offers full benefits and a schedule with days shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
• Current RN licensure as required by state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environment and patient for procedures, review medical records for safety.
• Respond to life-threatening situations using nursing protocols.
• Provide nursing care in a technically complex cath lab setting.
• Educate patient and family appropriate to age and condition.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
