Job summary

Vascular Institute in Denver, CO seeks a Registered Nurse (Full Time) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced vascular/cardiology setting. The role spans OR circulator, scrub, preop/PACU RN, and clinic/triage RN duties, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Minimum associate degree in nursing with 2 years' cath lab or vascular experience; ACLS certification required. ASC experience and sterile technique proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 2 years minimum cath lab, vascular, or cardiac nursing experience required.
• ACLS certification required.
• 2 years ASC experience; AAAHC familiarity preferred.
• Previous experience scrubbing in vascular/cardiology procedures; knowledge of sterile field management, interventional supplies, wire and catheter handling.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment with strong attention to detail and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to ensure patient safety.
• Directs and assists in safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Perform roles as OR circulator, scrub, preop/PACU RN, and clinic/triage RN.
• Assists in preparing the OR for the patient and procedure.
• Documents OR records, labs, medications, and physician orders.
• Coordinates patient flow and communication across departments.
