Job summary

RN - Cath Lab position available for a 13-week assignment in an acute care setting. Requires active RN license in the state, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS within six months. Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience preferred.

Duties include medication administration, patient care documentation, and collaboration with the care team to support patient transfers and discharge planning. Responsibilities also cover daily living activities support, patient education, and advocacy for patient

Qualifications

• Current State RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• ASLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cath lab or relevant setting.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided; monitor and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
