Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheter Lab at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This role supports high-quality cardiovascular care in a busy lab with a strong focus on teamwork and safety.
The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and partner with physicians to deliver coordinated patient care. 7a–7:30p shifts with weekly call duties after hours and on weekends, with ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry or ICU nursing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Certifications: CEN and CCRN preferred
- Comfort with EMR systems (EPIC)
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes
- Administer medications and provide hands-on care
- Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely care decisions
- Educate patients and families for next care steps
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions
- Contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused team culture
- Pursue ongoing professional growth and ladder opportunities
