RWJBarnabas Health’s Cardiac Catheter Lab unit in New Brunswick is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift. This on-site role offers a supportive team, with a rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends. New Jersey RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of CCU experience are required, with a preference for ICU/procedural experience.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, medication administration, education, and detailed documentation in EPIC EMR to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• 2 years of Critical Care RN experience within the last five years.
• Recent Procedural or ICU RN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; EMR experience with EPIC.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Partner with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure informed decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and team communication.
• Support a collaborative, on-call team environment for patient care.
