RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Catheter Lab at RWJ New Brunswick, NJ. This part-time, hourly role offers evening shifts (9:00 AM–7:30 PM) with 20 hours per week, in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Ideal candidates hold an NJ RN license, ACLS, BLS, and CCU/ICU experience within the last five years; cath lab exposure is preferred. Strong teamwork and evidence-based practice are essential to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license in good standing with BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• 2 years of CCU/ICU experience in last 5 years; cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• EMR experience with EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and intervene to address clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families for next care steps.
• Document in EMR accurately to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote effective communication.
• Support a collaborative team environment and professional growth.
