Job summary

Bayonne Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves assessing nursing needs, initiating interventions, and maintaining high standards of care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced invasive cardiology setting.

Requirements include RN license in NJ, BCLS/ACLS, IV and telemetry certifications, plus 1+ year of acute care and 1–2 years of critical care experience; PTCA experience preferred. Part-time with day shifts and 10-hour shifts per period.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• BCLS, ACLS, IABP Certification. IV Certification and Telemetry certification per policy.
• 1+ year acute care experience required for sign-on bonus.
• UG to 1-2 years of Critical care experience.
• Current RN license in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and initiate appropriate interventions for adults in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Maintain standards of nursing care and practice in the Nursing Department.
• Coordinate care under physician/director supervision.
