Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. This per diem position requires strong communication skills, proficient computer skills, and a minimum of one year cath lab experience. The nurse will provide critical care, perform stress test procedures, and ensure the safety of practice within the hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent/current cath lab experience.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS Certification.
• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice defined by Nurse Practice Act.
• Perform Stress test procedures.
• Reports identified safety issues.
• Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to team members.
