Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ACU Cardiac Cath Lab. You will perform initial assessments for scheduled procedures and coordinate care with the cardiac team.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience in an operating room, telemetry, or critical care, and holds a California RN license; BSN is preferred. BLS and ACLS must be current.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience in an operating room, on a telemetry unit, or critical care unit in an acute care facility required
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program
• Current California RN license (maintain current), BSN preferred
• BLS (maintain current AHA)
• ACLS (maintain current AHA)

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment appropriate to the patient's scheduled procedure, clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age development level, cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner
• Will be responsible for identifying the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis and tolerance of diagnostic testing/scheduled procedure
