Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ACU Cardiac Cath Lab. You will perform timely initial assessments, coordinate patient care, and assist with discharge planning based on the scheduled procedure and clinical presentation.

The role requires California RN licensure, 2 years in OR/telemetry/ICU, BLS and ACLS current, with BSN preferred. This is a hospital-based opportunity offering growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in an operating room, telemetry unit, or critical care unit in an acute care facility.
• Current California RN license; BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS current per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment appropriate to the patient’s scheduled procedure and clinical presentation.
• Initiates discharge planning for each patient upon admission when appropriate.
• Identifies need for further assessment based on clinical presentation and tolerance of testing.
