Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH), part of Southwest Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the ACU Cardiac Cath Lab to deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include timely assessments, discharge planning, and coordinating care with Cardiac Services leadership. California RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required; two years in OR/telemetry/ICU preferred; BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' experience in an operating room, telemetry unit, or critical care unit in an acute care facility.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current California RN license; BSN preferred and BLS/ACLS certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Cardiac Services or designated supervisors and charge nurses.
• Perform initial assessment before scheduled procedure, considering clinical presentation and patient age and cultural needs.
• Initiate discharge planning upon admission as appropriate.
• Identify need for further assessment based on presentation and tolerance of testing.
