Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Temecula Valley Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the ACU Cardiac Cath Lab. The RN conducts initial patient assessments, leads discharge planning, and collaborates with the Cardiac Services team to ensure safe, efficient care for scheduled procedures.

Required are 2 years in OR/telemetry/CCU, California RN license, BLS and ACLS. TVH offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits in a hospital known for patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in an operating room, on a telemetry unit, or critical care unit in an acute care facility required.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current California RN license (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification (maintain current AHA).
• ACLS certification (maintain current AHA).

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment appropriate to the patient’s scheduled procedure, clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age development level, cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Initiates discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate.
• Identifies the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis and tolerance of diagnostic testing/scheduled procedure.
