Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Cardiopulmonary Care Unit on a PRN basis. The role provides direct patient care under RN guidance, handling vital signs, mobility, and comfort while documenting in the EPIC EHR.

You’ll support the patient and family with compassionate, team-oriented care. Required credentials include nursing aide training or CNA/CMA pathways, with RSF PCT Training completion upon hire.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in acute care or similar setting is preferred.
• Must understand patient safety standards and infection control.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and comfort, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility.
• Serve as liaison between patient and nurse; report changes promptly.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the EHR.
• Assist with hand-offs and transfer of care; support independence and safety.
