Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a patient-facing nursing assistant to join the 32-bed intermediate-care cardiac unit on Klarman 8, focusing on advanced heart failure therapies and collaboration with an inpatient nursing team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 0-1 year related experience, and completion of BIDMC in-house training or allied health programs; CNA/LNA/MA/ED Tech/EMT/PCT backgrounds and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
0-1 Years Related Work Experience Required.
Patient care experience strongly preferred through CNA/LNA/MA/ED Tech/EMT/PCT candidate or enrolled nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
Completion of BIDMC in-house training program or Allied Health/Pre-Med/PA program candidates may apply.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with an inpatient nursing team to develop a patient's care plan.
Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse.
Maintains the safety of patients identified at risk for preventable injury via safety interventions or protective devices under RN supervision.
Reports all patient activity to the registered nurse in a timely manner.
