Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a patient care teammate to support inpatient nursing teams on 12 Reisman unit. You will collaborate with registered nurses to develop care plans and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Eligible candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 0-1 year related experience; prior CNA/LNA or EMT experience is strongly preferred. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and clear written and oral communication in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• CNA (or LNA), MA, ED Tech, EMT, PCT certificate or currently enrolled nursing student with clinical rotation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a registered nurse on developing a patient care plan.
• Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Maintains patient safety for at-risk individuals through safety interventions or protective devices under RN supervision.
• Reports all patient activity to the registered nurse in a timely manner.
