Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• Desire to help people and/or aspire to become a healthcare professional.
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA Certification preferred but not required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Vital Signs, Height and Weight, Oxygen Saturation; report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Collect various specimens for analysis.
• Record and measure intake and output.
• Provide patient with personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Perform basic clinical procedures independently or under RN supervision.
• Provide nutritional needs including assisting and ordering room service, setting up meal trays and feeding.
