Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Post Procedural Care Unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. This part-time day shift (7am-3:30pm) with rotating weekends offers 24 hours per week of patient-focused care under RN/LPN supervision.

The role emphasizes patient safety, ADL assistance, and coordination with the nursing team. A CNA training background and a current BLS certification are preferred or required per policy.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training preferred.
• Nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily patient care tasks under RN/LPN supervision.
• Perform patient care activities including ADLs, vital signs, and basic nursing procedures.
• Respond to patient call lights and assist with mobility and safety.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices as directed.
