Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least one semester of nursing clinical experience.
• Worked as CNA within past 24 months.
• Completed Carle's HCT In Training Program.
• Relevant medical military training.
• Completion of CNA coursework within past 24 months.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of unit supplies and stocking nurse servers, cleaning instruments, ordering supplies, and chart preparation.
• Collect data on assigned patients and ensure accurate documentation.
• Demonstrate competency in psychomotor skills including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and intake/output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Prepare patients for transportation and assist with transport.
• Assist RN with patient care as delegated (vital signs, glucose, bathing, repositioning, walking).
• Hourly rounding on patients.
• Maintain clean, tidy work environment.
• Organize and maintain medical and office supplies.
• Assist with internal and external customer service needs.
• Proactively seek opportunities to assist customers.
