Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program completed or in progress.
• CNA coursework completed within past 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities as delegated by the nurse according to policies.
• Provide hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility support to patients.
• Support basic nursing tasks such as measuring intake/output and vital signs.
• Care for skin, comfort, and safety of patients, maintaining a clean environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and preparing patient rooms.
