Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, with at least 1 year in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical terminology. Fingerprint Clearance Card and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in a healthcare-related field with medical terminology knowledge, or experience in scheduling/registration.
• Preferred 2 years healthcare-related experience in scheduling and registration.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPC) certificate or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first point of contact for customers and directs information appropriately.
• Performs registration, scheduling, data entry, and patient chart maintenance.
• Coordinates with physicians’ offices and manages communications and records.
• Provides imaging support tasks as needed and assists in maintaining patient workflow.
• Maintains inventory and performs other duties as assigned.
