Qualificações

• 1 year of related experience in healthcare scheduling/clerical with ICD10, CPT coding and knowledge of health care plan requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules surgeries and high level procedures according to procedures and physician privileges.
• Coordinates preoperative classes, education, and testing appointments.
• Pre-registers patients 24–48 hours prior to admission and initiates medical records.
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains prior authorization for preoperative testing.
• Distributes registration documents and gathers demographic, medical, and financial information.
