Job summary

BR DIST TELCO FCU in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Card Services Specialist I to process fraud/dispute cases, answer card-related inquiries, and support members across multiple channels. Training is at the Goodwood branch for 12–16 weeks, with possible hybrid work after probation.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Experience with card processing and fraud monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Ability to greet members and provide information via multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Processes, reviews and analyzes fraud/dispute cases and completes the dispute process per Visa Core Rules and Reg E.
• Provides information and answers questions about card issues to members and coworkers.
• Reviews cardholder maintenance reports and updates card status and reports for accuracy.
• Utilizes fraud monitoring tools and coordinates with card processing vendors to optimize tools.
• Identifies process improvements and participates in key projects and initiatives.
• Greet members and assist with account and credit union information via phone, in person, email, live chat, etc.
