Job summary

FIS in San Antonio is hiring for an Associate Advanced, Production Operations. You will support daily card production activities, train and coach teammates, and help drive process improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role blends hands‑on production with leadership support and documentation duties. You will work 12‑hour shifts, manage throughput, and partner with shift leadership to maintain schedules and high standards in a regulated production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, operations, or processing.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with good documentation habits.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to lift/move production materials and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, inserters, printers, sorters, and related systems to meet daily targets.
• Lead as a resource for production associates during daily operations.
• Onboard, train, and coach team members on equipment, procedures, and quality standards.
• Conduct testing and validation for processes, materials, and equipment enhancements.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and work instructions.
• Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security requirements.
• Track production results and communicate concerns and improvement opportunities.
