Western Alliance Bank in Columbus, OH is seeking a Card Operations Project Analyst to lead strategic improvements across banking systems and processes. The role requires partnering with senior stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions and champion enterprise-wide initiatives.

You will mentor junior analysts, manage multiple projects, and drive changes from design through deployment, ensuring data availability and enhanced user experience across business units.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations, Commercial Lending, Data Management, Process Improvement or System Design.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, Power BI, and SQL. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio/Lucid, and ADO.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a range of strategic operational initiatives across banking systems.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to design and integrate complex processes across multiple systems.
• Prioritize initiatives, manage multiple complex projects, and address tech-debt.
• Develop data-driven solution designs and document improvement needs for leadership.
• Train end users, develop training materials, and lead change management.
• Analyze and resolve design issues, communicating impacts and timelines.
• Facilitate enterprise-level project planning and drive application testing and deployment.
• Mentor junior Operations Business Analysts.
