Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Card Operations Project Analyst to lead and optimize enterprise banking processes across multiple units in a fast-paced environment. You will design and implement complex technical solutions, mentor junior analysts, and drive large-scale process improvements with executive visibility.

Role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in banking operations, data management or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree required; Masters or MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of general banking operations including deposits, loans, treasury management.
• Experience in data analytics, Power BI, and SQL.
• Strong communication, leadership and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of processes and features to improve banking workflows across units.
• Collaborate with development teams and senior leaders to integrate complex processes.
• Prioritize initiatives, manage multiple projects, drive iterative improvements and address tech debt.
• Partner with managers and executives to develop data-driven solution designs and document needs.
• Summarize updates for end users; develop training materials and lead change management.
• Oversee analysis, resolution and communication of design issues with stakeholders.
• Facilitate enterprise-level project planning, gather requirements, lead testing, and ensure deployment.
• Mentor junior Operations Business Analysts on best practices.
