Job summary

Westerra Credit Union seeks a Manager Card Operations to provide strategic leadership across debit and credit card programs. You will oversee Card Services, Disputes, and portfolio administration, collaborating with Lending, Risk, Marketing, and Digital Banking to ensure compliant, high-quality member experiences.

You will lead Card Specialists and the Card Services Manager, driving performance, governance, and end-to-end card lifecycle excellence in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in card operations, payments operations, or related financial services functions.
• Minimum 3 years of direct people leadership experience.
• Experience working with card processors, networks, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Card Operations, overseeing card servicing, disputes, processing, governance, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and manage Card Specialists and Card Services Manager, setting performance expectations.
• Oversee card issuance, fraud support, digital wallet, and settlements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with Lending, Risk, Marketing, Digital Banking, and Branch Operations to meet performance goals.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce friction for members and employees.
