Job summary

New Motors Subaru is hiring a Sales Associate for new and used cars in the Erie area. You’ll be the point of contact for customers, guiding them from needs analysis through the decision, including test drives and discussing numbers.

You’ll explain financing, warranties, and after-sales services clearly, handle the closing paperwork, and follow up to build lasting relationships. Training is provided and team support is strong.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No sales experience necessary—we'll train the right person
• Must be comfortable talking to people and closing a sale
• Valid driver's license and clean record

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and stay with them through the whole process, not just the first five minutes
• Ask the right questions to figure out what they actually need and can afford
• Walk customers through new and pre-owned vehicles — features, trade-offs, what fits their situation
• Take customers on test drives
• Explain financing, warranties, and after-sales services in a way that makes sense
• Handle the paperwork that comes with closing a sale
• Follow up after the sale to encourage repeat and referral business
• Help keep the lot looking sharp and vehicles priced right
• Monitor promotions and trade-in values and what the competition is doing
