Job summary

Hertz-1 is seeking a Fleet Specialist to split time between an office and outdoor environments. You will work with vehicles, using handheld EAM devices, and handle emails, report generation, and meetings to support fleet readiness.

The role involves organizing vehicle staging, vehicle inspections, and asset tagging while coordinating transportation and data entry tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in the car rental industry preferred.
• Prior asset control experience preferred.
• Prior logistics or transportation experience preferred.
• Must have ability to work with computers and tablets.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to navigate GPS mapping applications and follow guided directions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to make vehicles rental/sale ready, including inspections and registrations.
• Review VAW variance of site to resolve cars improperly coded.
• Organize staging of vehicles on lot to ensure quick action based on status, including scanning with mobile devices.
• Review non-rentable units and fleet levels; collaborate with Pool Fleet Manager to resolve status issues and get cars back on the road.
• Ensure all vehicles are marked with Quadrant system and monitor aging per window markings/No Rev reporting.
• Inventory vehicles and monitor asset control points; ensure current fleet is tracked.
• Add new asset tags to incoming fleet and receive vehicles in EAM.
• Perform administrative duties such as data entry, responding to emails, viewing reports, closing work orders, and attending conference calls.
• Coordinate transportation and car haulers, including scanning Non-Revenue moves.

Job description

The Fleet Specialist will also split their time between an office setting and outside. Working with vehicles outside, utilizing handheld EAM enabled devices. They will also be handling emails, report generation and review, as well as some meetings.

Wage

$17.00.

Key-result Areas

Job Dimensions

The Fleet Specialist works based on the guidance of the Pool Fleet Manager. There chief responsibility is to ensure that fleet is correctly available to be rented based on status. This individual will be working towards this goal under the authority of their direct manager.

Educational Background
