Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, capture management, proposal writing, or a related role supporting government or defense contracting.
• Current active US Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and the full capture/proposal lifecycle (market research through award).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to turn complex technical or programmatic information into clear, persuasive content under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working across a wide range of stakeholders (engineering, program management, finance, legal, security) in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits with overlapping timelines.
• Self-starter who can find information and make progress without extensive guidance.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Market & Capture Strategy: Conduct ongoing market research to identify new business opportunities and build capture plans aligned to growth targets.
• Proposal & Content Development: Own and write responses to RFIs/RFPs and translate engineering capabilities into clear narratives.
• Pricing & Deal Support: Support development and implementation of pricing strategy for the portfolio.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a link between growth/BD, engineering, program management, legal, finance, and executives to keep pursuits coordinated.
