Job summary

Cape is seeking a Capture Manager to drive growth with government and defense customers. This role owns opportunities from early market research through capture planning, proposal development, and contract award.

You'll collaborate with business development, engineering, program management, finance, and executives to identify opportunities, build winning capture strategies, and produce compelling technical and pricing narratives that convert pursuits into awarded contracts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business development, capture management, or related gov/defense role.
• Active US Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of capture/proposal lifecycle from market research through award.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own opportunities from initial market research to contract award.
• Write responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and white papers.
• Translate technical capabilities into clear, persuasive proposal narratives.
• Develop pricing narratives and coordinate with finance and contracts.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, program management, legal, and leadership.
