Insight Global is seeking a Capture Manager to lead strategic federal growth within the defense sector. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting federal government contracting.
  • 4+ years of dedicated Capture Management experience supporting federal opportunities.
  • Proven history leading and winning capture efforts valued at $25M+.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, RFPs, competitive procurements, and solicitation strategies.
  • Experience supporting DoD customers including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, DAF, or related defense agencies.
  • Experience developing capture plans, win strategies, competitive positioning, and discriminators.
  • Experience conducting price-to-win analysis, solution shaping, and competitive intelligence assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic federal growth initiatives across the defense market by managing high-value opportunities from qualification through contract award.
  • Serve as the primary owner of the capture lifecycle, partnering with executive leadership, business development teams, solution architects, pricing teams, and proposals to position the company for success.
  • Develop capture plans, conduct competitive intelligence assessments, lead price-to-win activities, establish teaming strategies, identify discriminators, and drive win strategy development.
  • Coordinate Black Hat reviews, executive gate reviews, readiness assessments, and customer engagement plans while aligning stakeholders throughout the pursuit process.

  • Experience supporting Digital Engineering, MBSE, Systems Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML, or Advanced Technology programs.
  • Shipley Capture Management certification or equivalent training.
  • Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Compensation:

Up to $180,000 per year annual salary.
