Job summary

MORRISON Energy is seeking a Vessel Captain/Mate responsible for ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel according to United States Coast Guard regulations. This position involves supervising the crew, conducting inspections, and maintaining vessel safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a US Coast Guard licensed Captain/Mate, a valid Merchant Mariners Document, and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid US Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Document and applicable STCW Training
• Extensive knowledge of US Coast Guard regulations
• Medical clearance meeting US Coast Guard requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe navigation of the vessel in accordance with regulations
• Supervise emergency drills and crew safety procedures
• Maintain vessel logs and necessary reports as per US Coast Guard requirements
