The Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland is seeking a Banquet Captain to elevate guest experiences from arrival through event execution. You will lead the banquet team with precision, ensuring flawless setup and attentive service for each function.

Requested Tasks

• Oversee banquet room set up, team direction and organization
• Warmly welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements as necessary
• Manage team members; lead with honesty, professionalism and thoughtfulness
• Respond to guest and coordinator requests and needs
• Ensure facilities are well-maintained

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience as in Banquet management highly preferred
• Prior leadership highly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an excellent level of service
