Job summary

The City of Broken Arrow is seeking a CAPRA accreditation coordinator within the Parks and Recreation Department. You will manage accreditation activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain NRPA communications to ensure ongoing compliance and timely reaccreditation.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) with related experience; CPR/First Aid and AED certification, and a valid Oklahoma Class D driver’s license. The position is on-site with standard city benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience; Bachelor’s preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and AED certification required; valid Class D Driver's License.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain CAPRA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Manages CAPRA accreditation process and ongoing compliance.
• Oversees annual review and updates to CAPRA standards.
• Liaises with NRPA for CPRA accreditation communications.
• Leads five-year reaccreditation planning and task scheduling.
• Coordinates matrix teams and allocates resources to meet CAPRA goals.
• Manages project timelines and monitors deliverables for quality control.
• Develops internal communications and progress reports.
• Analyzes agency procedures, KPI results, and program performance.
• Recommends updates to operational goals and strategies.
• Attends professional events and trainings; performs other duties as assigned.
