Job summary

The City of Auburn's Parks and Recreation Department seeks a Recreation Leader–Athletics to coordinate and assist with athletic activities. This role reports to the League Sports Coordinator and supports tournaments, leagues, clinics, and related events to present a professional public image.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years’ experience, a valid driver's license, and basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience preferred in recreation or related fields.
• Knowledge of department rules and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a Parks and Recreation athletic activity and supervise participants.
• Enforce guidelines and safety standards for programs.
• Assist with tournaments, leagues, clinics, and related activities to present a professional image.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
