Job summary

Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking a part-time Recreation Center Rental/Program Assistant to support facility operations at the recreation center. The role involves assisting patrons, scheduling rentals and events, taking fees, and maintaining a clean facility.

CPR and First Aid are required, with a valid Tennessee driver's license expected. The position reports to the Center Director and requires good interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to handle public interactions

Qualifications

• General knowledge of athletic activities and safety procedures.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public and staff.
• Ability to maintain order in a public facility and follow program standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities and assist patrons, addressing safety concerns.
• Answer telephones and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Manage event and rental scheduling and collect applicable fees.
• Clean facilities after use and handle light maintenance tasks as needed.
