KMRG, LLC is hiring a Budget & Financial Analyst to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP) in the Office of Information Systems. The position is hybrid in Southwest Washington, DC with full-time hours, requiring coordination with USCP and government personnel and adherence to federal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of federal budget management and execution experience.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing financial data and supporting budget, invoice, reconciliation, or related financial-management activities.

Responsibilities

• Budget Management & Execution: Support federal budget management and execution activities for OIS and IRMD; assist with budget preparation; track budget status and expenditures; maintain records for reviews; identify variances and follow up.
• Procurement, Payments & Reconciliation: Assist with procurement requests; validate invoices; support payments and reconciliations; assist with contract closeout; respond to routine inquiries.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data; prepare summaries and updates for Government review; maintain tracking information; support cost-status and burn-rate reporting; use Excel to organize and present data.
• Coordination & Financial Compliance: Coordinate with OIS managers; follow federal financial-management processes; maintain organized records and timely support for activities.
