Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Manager II to independently manage capital projects through all lifecycle phases, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement are aligned for successful outcomes.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, strong communication, and knowledge of risk management. Hybrid work is required with relocation within commutable distance to Marianna, FL, or Fernandina Beach. Apply with [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience leading projects valued over $10M.
• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project risk management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project management plans for Storm Protection Plan projects.
• Lead project teams and coordinate activities across multiple functional groups.
• Establish and manage scope, schedule, budget, and performance objectives.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Lead change management and project governance processes.
• Prepare project forecasts and executive reporting packages.
• Coordinate contractor, consultant, and vendor activities.
• Monitor compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support project audits, reviews, and stage-gate approvals.
