Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for capital projects, including sourcing, bidding, contracts, and supplier management across multiple sites. You will partner with engineering, construction, and finance to drive value-driven procurement strategies and risk management.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement and 5+ years supporting large capital projects with budgets over $5M, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work within Central/Eastern

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or commercial contracting experience.
• 5+ years supporting capital projects in chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Experience supporting capital projects exceeding $5M.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex supplier negotiations and manage commercial risk.
• Experience developing construction package strategies and procurement execution plans for capital projects.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze project data and market intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for capital projects from FEL-1 through project closeout (sourcing, bidding, contracts, logistics, supplier management).
• Develop and execute procurement strategies supporting capital projects, plant expansions, maintenance, and regulatory initiatives.
• Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, and EPC/EPCM teams to develop package strategies and to manage project risks.
• Manage competitive bidding, evaluations, negotiations, and contracts for equipment, materials, services, EPC/EPCM, and construction.
• Recommend contracting strategies (lump sum, unit rate, T&M, reimbursable, EPC/EPCM) based on scope, risk, cost and schedule.
• Oversee requisition-to-purchase processes, procurement reporting, forecasting, and governance compliance.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, serving as primary procurement liaison for capital projects at the Parkersburg, WV site.
