Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large and small capital projects across Chemours sites worldwide, reporting to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects. This role focuses on safety, quality, and innovation, managing from FEL through Start-Up with global collaboration.

Responsibilities include front-end loading, cost/schedule control, and contractor oversight. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential; role may require travel and onsite presence near HQs in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years managing capital projects.
• Minimum 3 years working with a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of field construction or contract management.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing capital projects in the $1M-$20M range.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to execute smaller, less complex projects with limited resources.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead by influence.
• Strong team-building skills.
• Experience working with engineering/design contractors.
• Experience using project scheduling software.
• Smart engineering/design tools knowledge.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Identify project team resources and secure staffing with resource managers.
• Ensure all team members understand roles and deliverables.
• Establish effective communications with the project team and stakeholders.
• Lead front-end loading, scope of work, estimates, funding requests, and schedule.
• Proactively drive scope, cost, schedule and resources.
• Identify deliverables and ensure timely completion and quality.
• Manage changes within approved budgets per Change policy.
• Drive project processes per Chemours Project System.
• Lead risk identification/mitigation and problem-solving.
• Ensure design standards are followed.
