Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large and small capital projects across our sites worldwide, reporting to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and innovation, with potential placement near our Wilmington, Delaware or Philadelphia, PA area teams to enable close collaboration.

You will plan, lead, and manage all project activities from FEL through Start-Up, coordinating with stakeholders and managing design, procurement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years managing capital projects.
• 3+ years working in a chemical plant environment.
• 2+ years experience with field construction or contract management.
• 5+ years managing capital projects in the $1M-$20M range.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to lead by influence and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify project team resources and secure staffing with resource managers.
• Ensure all team members understand their roles and deliverables.
• Establish communications with project team and stakeholders to align objectives.
• Lead front-end loading: scope, estimates, funding requests, schedule, design basis.
• Drive scope, cost, schedule and resources; manage changes within budget.
• Ensure timely completion and quality of project deliverables.
• Follow design standards and agreements with internal/external resources.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
