Job summary

City of Aurora’s Public Works Department seeks a Project Manager for Streets and Capital Projects Construction to prepare, manage and coordinate multiple complex contracts for street rehabilitation and preservation. You will work with contractors, other departments and outside agencies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of progressive infrastructure analysis or inspection experience related to asphalt and concrete construction.
• PMP Certification and/or Engineering Intern Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage construction contracts for major street rehabilitation projects.
• Review progress payments and represent the Street Division in meetings with contractors and other agencies.
• Prepare reports and budgets; maintain pavement data and support program contracts.
