Job summary

Mccno is seeking a Project Manager for Capital Project Delivery in New Orleans to oversee renovation, construction, and maintenance efforts. The role involves planning, budgeting, supervising activities, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years in project management and a degree in engineering, architecture, or building construction, with strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or building construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication coupled with customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and coordinate renovation, construction, and maintenance projects.
• Prepare comprehensive work plans and ensure on-budget, on-time completion.
• Generate and monitor reports on status of current and future projects for stakeholders.
• Assist in annual capital-improvement budgeting and cost controls.
• Define scopes, budgets, and schedules with department heads; follow up to completion.
• Develop bid packages and specifications for construction/maintenance.
• Liaise with NOEHA, designers, engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and occupants.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Track permits and occupancy approvals.
• Maintain clear, detailed communication to maximize satisfaction and efficiency.
