Job summary

PMEP, a leading design-build contractor in the Greater New Orleans region, seeks a Project Manager to lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery of construction projects. You own projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, designers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure safety, schedule, and quality.

Ideal candidates have strong financial acumen, five years in project management, and experience with commercial/industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in project management and financial software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets from buyout through closeout.
• Manage cost forecasting, cost reporting, and financial projections monthly.
• Review and manage subcontract agreements and ensure scope clarity.
• Lead project coordination meetings with stakeholders and field teams.
• Ensure procurement and sequencing align with the schedule.
• Maintain project documentation and financial reconciliation at closeout.
