Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Baton Rouge/New Orleans seeks a Project Manager I – Engineering to oversee full lifecycle of projects from scoping to delivery. You will coordinate cross-discipline teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure client satisfaction across smaller to mid-size projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience, plus 2 years of task management or deputy PM exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.
• PE, AICP, PMP certifications are desirable (preferred qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotes for technical proposals and contracts.
• Lead project team to deliver scope, schedule and budgets to client satisfaction.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and production.
• Implement SDA and supervise the project management plan.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development, and performance reviews.
• Support business development and client relationship building for strategic projects.
